Yes, this economy has pinched us photographers pretty damned hard. I am working three times as hard to maintain a lower standard of living than I did three years ago. The upside is that my client base has grown as much of my competition hasn’t seen the light and still insist on squeezing folks their customers for dollars they just don’t have anymore, so good on you for recognizing that.
I nosed though your website, too. Very nice work. Keep it up. As long as you produce a superior product, clients will find you.
I consider myself blessed and fortunate to be able to offer this as we do not rely on the income from my photography business to get by. Not to diminish the importance of this business – I do want it to grow and thrive. However, I realize that takes time. Better to maintain quality than to get over-zealous!
